Welcome to the Bruce Peninsula. Located only a few hours from Toronto - The Bruce Peninsula is a place of natural splendor. With 2 National Parks, and more than 9 nature reserves and naturalist haven's - the Bruce is truly a natural wonderland!

By The Bay Resort is located in the centre of the Bruce Peninsula - on Lake Huron. The resort is located only 20 minutes from both Lion's Head and Wiarton - and 40 minutes south of Tobermory.

Fishing
The resort has a boat launch but you can also launch a boat in Wiarton or in Lion's Head to fish in Georgian Bay. You can try your luck in the deeper waters of Lake Huron to catch prize salmon or lake trout - or catch a pike or bass in the bay near the resort.

Hiking
The Bruce Peninsula is home to some of the best Bruce Trail hiking in Ontario. A short drive brings you to the Peninsula Bruce Trail - which winds it's way up the Georgian Bay side of the peninsula towards Tobermory.

Nature - Parks & Reserves
There are 2 national parks located on the peninsula- the Bruce Peninsula National Park & the Fathom Five National Marine Park. There are also several Ontario Parks and some Ontario Nature Reserves. All are a short drive from By The Bay Resort in Pike Bay.
